OWTS GRAPHICS DEPT.

The Graphic Design department at Oliver Wolcott Technical High School is a multi-layered learning experience offered through the schools exploratory program to students entering in 9th grade.

Over the course of the student's four years at OWTS, graphics students will learn the essential skills required to excel in the field of graphic design and digital media. 

​

Through various projects, assessments and presentations, graphics students gain a deeper understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as a vast array of real life production work from local businesses in the area. 

​

Students who master these skills and wish to take their experience into the work force are offered the opportunity of employment through our work based learning program. Here, students are allowed to work at their trade related jobs while still earning high school credits towards graduation.
